A composer with the ability to transcend several musical genres …he is certainly one of Australia's most creative and interesting composers for acoustic music to emerge in the last decade. The word 'genius' I have always reserved for the greats …but given the diversity, variation, number of musical genres, and the prolific number of high quality, original compositions of all styles of music Pete has put out … it's hard not to use the word for him here as well” Tony Bates 3WBC 94.1FM, Box Hill, Victoria |

Although widely known for his flamboyant, electro-rock, Australian audiences have been seeing another facet to the talented Mandy Kane, with his compelling acoustic shows. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he writes and produces his own material and is regularly compared with the likes of David Bowie, Gary Numan, Marc Almond and Joy Division. His acoustic translations give his material new depth, displaying his unique storytelling and powerful vocals in their rawest form. |
