Come and share the wonder of books with us!
Enjoy approximately 40 - 50 minutes of fun stories, songs, rhymes and activities with your two to five year olds...

Songbirds

Melbourne Library Service’s program for babies and toddlers up to two years old, and their parents and carers.  Come along for songs, rhymes and stories to engage your budding bookworm’s mind and introduce them to the fun and rhythm of language.

 
Then weekly:

East Melbourne: Thursdays from 10:30am – 11am

North Melbourne: Wednesdays from 2:15pm – 2:45pm

 

Sessions will not run on public holidays or during school holidays.

May 28: Rainbow magic day - make a Rainbow Magic door hanger, and borrow some Rainbow Magic books!

June 25: Winter games - rug up, come inside and play some indoor games and warm up with a hot chocolate, YUM!
July 30: Junior book critics: review writing.

August 27: CBCA Bookweek- “Book Safari”: help create a wonderful piece of art to display in the children’s area for bookweek.

September 17: Phil Kettle: Join the author of Too Cool and Boys Rule! series in an interactive workshop.

October 29: Spooky stories - Share a ghost story (if you dare!) and make a Halloween mask to take home.

November 26: Bookgroup break-up party - Celebrate with some cake and create your own advent calendar.
