Melbourne Library Service has public access computers available for members at all locations.

 

City Library has 28 computers, North Melbourne has 5 computers and East Melbourne 8 computers.

 

Internet access, Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel are available on every PC at all locations.

 

Melbourne Library Service now has wireless access in all three libraries through Unwired.

Please remember to secure your laptops and other items when in the library to prevent them being stolen.

Terms and Conditions
Computer users are expected to abide by the Melbourne Library Service computer usage terms and conditions. The library reserves the right to terminate the computer access privileges of any person abusing these policies. For more information click here.

Disks
Floppy disks are available at the Circulation Desk for $2.75 each.

 

Cancellations
If your session is not started within 10 minutes of your allotted start time, your booking will automatically be cancelled.

 

User Etiquette
At the end of your session please log off the machine ready for the next user to enter their username and password. Users must not attempt to make any changes to the set-up or configuration of the software or hardware. When viewing websites or programs that have sound, please respect other users by using your own headphones or by exchanging your library card at the desk for a set.
