Wireless Internet Access

Please remember to secure your laptops and other items when in the library to prevent them being stolen.

You can use your own laptop to connect to the internet at any of our MLS locations.
The provider we are using is Unwired - http://www.unwired.com.au/
It appears as UConnect in your list of available wireless connections
 
Here's how it works in a nutshell:
You need a laptop with an internal modem - most modern laptops have this feature. 
Switch your laptop to wireless.
An icon in the bottom right hand corner of their screen appears click it and find uconnect and click.
Answer the appropriate questions (see below).
Open a browser as usual.

The first time you access wireless in a 24 hour period a login screen appears asking a few simple questions such as gender and postcode, as well as an acceptance of conditions check box.
 
If you access wireless again in a 24 hour period they will not need to complete this information, only once every 24 hours.
